Who We Serve
At The Pregnancy Support Center of Johnson County, we proudly serve pregnant women from all walks of life, regardless of income or location, and we provide support for families with children up to age 6. Our mission is to ensure that every woman has access to the resources she needs during this crucial time, helping her feel empowered and supported every step of the way.
Resources for Momma and Baby
With every monthly visit to our center, mothers can receive a package that includes diapers, wipes, 20 pieces of clothing, and other essential items to help prepare themselves and their child for a healthy start in life, all in line with PSCJC program guidelines.

In our Mommy Mart, moms can browse a selection of clothing and baby equipment to choose from. The Corner Market offers hygiene items and essentials to help create clean, safe homes for families. In the market, moms can get diapers for children up to age one, and pull-ups for kids up to age 6.

Once a month, moms can watch a class on topics like child development, parenting, and hygiene. Each class earns them Mommy Money, which they can use to shop for items they need. Moms can also earn Mommy Money by attending doctor visits, going to school, or engaging in activities that foster a healthy environment for their growing families. Our center is run by compassionate volunteers who are dedicated to caring for both mothers and their children.
Major Equipment Program
We’re excited to offer our new moms the chance to earn a larger piece of baby equipment By attending ten doctor visits, mothers can qualify for an essential piece of furniture, such as a crib and mattress, bassinet, pack-n-play, or car seat. Thanks to our generous supporters, these free items not only provide a safe place for babies but are designed to transform and grow with them.
Baby Showers
We believe every mom deserves to celebrate her journey into motherhood! Whether you're a party planner, a church, or an organization, here are a few fun ways to host a Baby Shower for The Pregnancy Support Center:
1. For the Party Planner: Choose a date and gather your friends and family for a delightful shower filled with games, laughter, and cake. After the party, you can contact us to deliver the items collected or arrange for a volunteer to come and pick them up.
2. For the Church/Organization: Designate a month to celebrate the PSCJC and set up a pack-n-play for everyone to see. We have pack-n-plays available for local groups to borrow! Encourage attendees to bring items throughout the month, whether through themed weeks (like diapers and wipes) or whatever they wish to donate. Just reach out to us to coordinate the delivery of items or to have a volunteer come collect them.
3. Virtual Shower: Host a virtual shower by sharing our Amazon Wish List link with your group, asking them to order gifts by a set date. All items will be delivered directly to the Center, and don’t forget to add a note so we can send you a heartfelt ‘Thank You’!
